Message is off, remove wire clip holding top and bottom slide pins in place, remove slide pins, remove spring plate, pull out pads, remove cap from brake reservoir, push pistons/retract them, insert new pads and put it all back together.

PS - Be sure to use brake grease on the slide pins too - makes sure the pads move freely. I clean everything up with spray can brake degreaser first including the pistons BEFORE retracting them (ie., no dirt/grim is pushed back inside of the piston dust boot). Clean up every surface that he brake pad touches when moving then re-grease those surface but of course, not the brake pad disc contact area....

FYI - Other cars sometimes have the parking brake as part the rear piston system (our Z does not). Those cars require the piston to be turned in order to get it to retract.
